Licensed Electrician
Mermaid Cleaning Services is seeking a qualified, licensed, and experienced Licensed Electrician to join its technical maintenance team. The role supports electrical installations, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance across company-managed properties and client sites.
Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting, switches, outlets, breakers, and distribution boards.
- Diagnose electrical faults, power interruptions, and equipment failures.
- Inspect and troubleshoot solar systems, inverters, batteries, and backup power equipment within professional authorization.
- Maintain electrical components associated with automated gates, pumps, and security systems.
- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and electrical safety inspections.
- Respond to urgent electrical maintenance requests and document repairs, inspections, and materials used.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable Eswatini electrical regulations and safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Recognized electrical trade qualification and valid electrical license or professional registration applicable to the work.
- At least 3 years of relevant electrical maintenance experience.
- Experience in residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Knowledge of solar and inverter systems is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, independence, and professionalism.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Eligible to work in Eswatini.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience maintaining electrical systems across managed properties or client sites.
- Solar, inverter, battery, and backup power equipment experience.
- Automated gate, pump, and security system electrical experience.
- Ability to document work clearly and follow safety inspection procedures.
