Gardener
Mermaid Cleaning Services is looking for a hardworking and experienced Gardener to maintain gardens, lawns, landscapes, and outdoor areas at client properties. The ideal candidate must take pride in creating clean, attractive, and healthy outdoor environments.
Responsibilities
- Mow lawns and maintain grassed areas.
- Trim hedges, shrubs, and small trees.
- Plant flowers, trees, shrubs, and landscaping features.
- Water plants and maintain basic irrigation systems.
- Remove weeds, leaves, branches, and garden waste.
- Apply fertilizers and basic pest control treatments where required.
- Maintain gardening tools and equipment.
- Keep outdoor areas clean, neat, and presentable.
- Identify plant health issues and report maintenance needs.
- Support outdoor cleaning and property care tasks when required.
Required Qualifications
- Previous gardening or landscaping experience preferred.
- Knowledge of plants, flowers, and lawn maintenance.
- Ability to safely operate gardening tools and equipment.
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Eligible to work in Eswatini.
Preferred Qualifications
- Landscaping experience.
- Irrigation system maintenance experience.
- Tree pruning and plant care experience.
- Basic gardening equipment maintenance knowledge.
